Scholarship to Study a Foreign Language
Renewal
The
Foundation will award scholarships to
deserving young women who have attained at least the honor of Silver Award Girl
Scout, and who plan to or are currently pursuing a college major or minor in
foreign language. This scholarship IS
renewable.
Renewal Guidelines
Scholarship
renewal is not
automatic. The recipient must show that
the intent and criteria of the scholarship were met during the previous
academic year. The scholarship may be
renewed a maximum of three times following the initial award, for a total of
four years ($6,000). To renew the
scholarship the applicant must:
1. Complete the renewal application.
2. Provide a copy of their transcript
showing they are a full-time student, in good standing, progressing toward a
degree, and maintaining at least a “B” average in their major/minor foreign
language.
Scholarship Renewal Deadline
Applications and ALL supporting materials should be
shipped in one package.
Applications WILL NOT
be accepted prior to March 15.
Applications MUST
ARRIVE no later than May 15 (5:00pm, CST)

arriving after the deadline, for any reason, WILL NOT be considered!]
